History
Santa Margarida is one of the oldest driving schools of Aveiro. This
year is the company’s 50th anniversary.
The business started in August 1960, however the father of the current
owners acquired the driving school only in 1969. During these years he
was an employee of the school. At the beginning, the school only provided
its students with driving licenses for motorcycles and automobiles. Nowadays
the school also provides its students with classes for large vehicles,
with or without trailers.
In 1998 Santa Margarida was the first driving school in Portugal and Europe
to acquire a virtual room for its students. This room was presented in
a congress for driving schools in Germany.
Santa Margarida always has been one of the most prestigious and popular
driving schools of the region of Aveiro.
